Enhanced integration with S&P Capital IQ
We’ve expanded and deepened Blueflame AI’s integration with S&P Capital IQ to support more advanced diligence and market analysis workflows. These updates provide broader market data coverage and enable more flexible, conversational interactions with that data directly inside Blueflame AI. Here's what's new:
Expanded market data coverage
Blueflame AI now incorporates additional S&P Capital IQ datasets, including:
- Fundamentals and estimates: Full financial statements, capital structure details, forward-looking consensus estimates, and data from specific reporting periods.
- Transaction and deal intelligence: Granular M&A and PE/VC transaction data, including deal multiples, deal structures, and buyer/seller details.
- Entity and people mapping: Comprehensive corporate trees (subsidiaries and affiliates) and people data, such as board member histories, executive bios, and compensation data.
- Private equity specifics: Fund-level data including investment mandates, geographic and sector focus, and dry powder metrics.
Deeper market analysis through conversational prompting
The integration now supports multi-step, conversational workflows that preserve context across queries, allowing you to refine analysis without restating filters or assumptions.
Example workflow:
- “@CapIQ Identify all transactions since 2022 in the UK where the target was operating in the semiconductor manufacturing industry”
- “Provide the transaction multiples for each transaction, and the name of the buying company.”
Together, expanded datasets and enhanced prompting allow you to perform more complex analysis—cross-referencing multiple data points such as time-series performance, peer comparisons, and combined datasets like funding amounts and headcount—within a single, continuous workflow.
Business-grade AI image generation
Blueflame AI now supports professional AI image generation for IC and board-level materials. Powered by Google’s Gemini 3 Pro Image in the U.S. and Gemini 2.5 Nano in the EU, @ImageGeneration helps you create compliant, brand-accurate visuals with readable text and rich detail.
@ImageGeneration is designed for scenarios where brand accuracy, compliance, and clarity matter, including:
- IC and board-level diagrams, including diagrams of a company’s business model, supply chain, offerings, organizational / legal structure, or technology stack
- Market visuals, including market maps, geographic footprints (client, employee, office), and competitive landscapes
- Infographics, including explainers and summary visuals
- Data visuals, including graphs and charts
- Technical content, including architecture and system diagrams

Grok 4.1 is now live
We’ve rolled out Grok 4.1 globally following the implementation of required security and privacy protections, including zero data retention and EU data sovereignty.
Why use Grok:
- Access real-time internet data, including X/Twitter, with citations
- Analyze long-context inputs
- Surface alternative viewpoints quickly
In testing, Grok has proven especially useful for fast-moving news, live events, and thesis testing, often complementing or replacing tools like Perplexity.
Note: Grok is now available through the model selector, however, it is not currently used by the Blueflame Agent or for core processing tasks.
More flexible deep research capabilities
Blueflame AI’s deep research capabilities now provide four paths, allowing you to balance speed and depth based on your needs:
- Perplexity Deep Research: fast, lightweight research
- Gemini Deep Research: balanced, concise analysis
- OpenAI Deep Research: deep, comprehensive outputs
- Blueflame Deep Research: multi-agent analysis combined with your internal content
Many clients see the strongest results by running two research agents in parallel and comparing outputs.
Direct integration with Datasite virtual data rooms
Blueflame AI now integrates directly with Datasite’s virtual data rooms (VDRs). This secure, real-time integration brings Datasite’s VDRs and projects into Blueflame AI automatically, eliminating manual file handling while enabling AI-powered analysis.
