The Business Development Representative position at Blueflame AI is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying leads. This position involves working closely with the other members of the company’s sales and marketing teams and conducting market research, reaching out to potential clients, and nurturing relationships to convert leads into sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will be organized, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

  • Identify potential clients through various channels, including social media, networking events, and industry conferences
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for business growth
  • Utilize the company’s CRM software to track leads and help manage the sales pipeline

Outreach and Engagement:

  • Initiate contact with potential clients via phone calls, emails, and social media
  • Conduct introductory meetings to understand client needs and present the platform
  • Qualify leads based on their potential to convert into sales opportunities

Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and clients to foster trust and credibility
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and keep them engaged

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation strategies and campaigns
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and market trends to help refine marketing strategies
  • Prepare regular reports on lead generation activities and sales pipeline status

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance sales skills and product knowledge

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • A bachelor’s degree and a solid educational foundation that support the ability to engage in business development activities and contribute to the sales team's success

Compensation

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, and education. In addition to a base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.

The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position.  Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

$61,900.00 - $102,400.00
