Job Description
The Product Strategy team at Blueflame AI bridges the capabilities of the technology we build with the domain-specific needs and expectations of our clients. The Product Strategist – Investment Banking role will make critical contributions to defining workflows and building use cases for our investment banking clients. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, organized, and passionate about generative AI and improving banking workflows. Product Strategists often face clients and build relationships that empower them to serve as trusted advisors on a client’s AI journey and aspirations. The role requires flexibility, bias to action, and a drive to excel in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Voice of the Customer: Champion the client perspective in roadmap and design reviews based on domain expertise as well as feedback actively gathered from clients, synthesizing insights and recommendations for the rest of the product team
- Build and Curate Financial Use Cases: Deconstruct banking workflows and develop our product library of AI-powered solutions tailored to the unique needs of dealmakers – matching the attention to detail, analytical lens, information-dense style, and uncompromising quality that finance professionals expect
- Forge and Maintain Strong Client Relationships: Engage directly with decision-makers at financial institutions to understand their most pressing workflow challenges; establish yourself as a credible expert in applying AI to investment banking and produce compelling presentations, demonstrations, and examples of how Blueflame’s solutions address these pain points and deliver measurable value
- Partner with GTM Teams to Drive Commercial Outcomes: Collaborate with our sales team to engage strategic prospects and win business; help our client success team ensure deployment success, monitor feedback, and identify areas of opportunity; work with our marketing team to create content that resonates with financial professionals and accurately reflects their language and priorities
- Conduct Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in AI within investment banking; conduct in-depth analyses of competing solutions, identifying key differentiators and making recommendations about Blueflame’s positioning; think creatively and propose new AI-powered solutions that address unique challenges faced by dealmakers
What You Bring
- Finance Expertise: 3-5 years of front-office experience at top-tier investment banks; deep familiarity with end-to-end deal workflows from a banker perspective
- Curiosity About Generative AI and Technology: Demonstrated interest in the transformative potential of generative AI for the financial sector; intuition for technology solutions to financial challenges with flexible problem-solving skills
- Executive Presence: Proven capacity to engage stakeholders at all levels and earn their trust, explaining technical solutions to business-oriented audiences; navigate internal hierarchies at financial institutions to reach decision-makers
- Strong Presentation Skills: Comfort conducting impromptu demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and polished presentations in an engaging manner, tailored to the audience
- High-Impact, Ownership Mindset: Exceptional ability to thrive on autonomy and ambiguity, tackle ambitious challenges with enthusiasm, and drive transformational outcomes at the intersection of AI and finance
The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
$170,000.00 - $297,200.00
