As we start 2026, I wanted to reflect on last year and say thank you. 2025 was a defining year for Blueflame - for the product, the team, and the role our solution plays in how our clients actually get work done.
A turning point for the company
In July, Blueflame joined Datasite, becoming the AI engine at the core of dealmaking and investment management.
It gave us the ability to scale faster, reach more global clients, and invest more deeply in the product - while staying focused on the same problem we’ve always cared about: helping people turn messy, unstructured information into clear, usable insight when decisions matter.
From experimentation to real dependency
At the start of 2025, many clients were still experimenting with AI. By the end of the year, Blueflame AI became something teams depend on in live deals.
We saw this shift clearly:
- Blueflame AI is now embedded directly in diligence, IC prep, and deal execution
- Clients rely on it to pressure-test theses, surface risks, and sanity-check conclusions
- AI moved from “nice to have” to part of the core workflow
That transition - from curiosity to dependency - is the hardest part of building enterprise AI. Crossing it was the most meaningful milestone of the year.
2025 by the the numbers
A few metrics help put the year in perspective:
- Our client base grew 4×, expanding across the US, UK, Europe, and Australia
- Our team grew to 100+ people, doubling since the acquisition
- In Q4 alone, our email agents summarized 5,000+ CIMs and offering documents with high accuracy
But the metric we care most about: how often clients come back to Blueflame AI when the work is time-sensitive, and the stakes are high.
What we shipped and why it mattered
We shipped a lot in 2025 in response to real workflows. Every release was driven by how clients actually work. Highlights include:
- Global Search and a fully refreshed core experience
- Email agents that extract and sanity-check deal information
- Blueprints v2 and Nexus v2 for repeatable, high-quality work
- Expanded integrations across Datasite, Grata, Quartr, Affinity, Salesforce, PitchBook, Microsoft 365, and more
- Continuous upgrades to best-in-class models, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok
The team behind Blueflame AI
None of this happens without the Blueflame AI team. We more than doubled the company this year, adding builders, operators, and domain experts across the US, Europe, and Australia. I’ve been incredibly impressed with this new talent we’ve succeeded at bringing in.
As a founder, that’s the part I’m most proud of.
Looking ahead to 2026
2026 is about depth, not breadth. Our focus is on:
- Fewer prompts and less manual orchestration
- AI that plans, reasons, and executes inside real workflows
- Deeper integrations where work already lives
- Helping clients move faster without cutting corners
We’re building Blueflame AI to be the system you trust when decisions are ambiguous, information is incomplete, and time matters.
Thank you for trusting us with real work, real data, and real decisions. We don’t take that lightly.
Here’s to a high-leverage, low-volatility year ahead.
